Fair comments to what is essentially a teen movie and very little more. Treated like that it passes the time and gives the teens a little bit of character building. Totally agree on the references, the lining them up on their knees to be executed - straight up out of the play book. Way to deep a reference for this type of movie, it is almost like the screenwriter’s couldn’t be bothered with how to cover it so they decided to just borrow that aspect aspect.
